The Beaches

Lake Tahoe has over 72 miles of shoreline. It has a diverse range of beaches and coves to go relax and enjoy. The views of the sparkling blue water and mountain peaks is breathtaking! The closest beach to the Tahoe Red cabin is Lake side Beach just 4 miles away down Kingsbury Grade.

Skiing

Heavenly Mountain Resort is just minutes away from the Tahoe Red Cabin. You can drive or take the TTD bus just out the front door. The ski resort located on the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe. It has 97 runs and 30 lifts that are spread between California and Nevada and four base facilities. It boasting the highest elevation of the Lake Tahoe area ski resorts.

Hiking

Hiking the fabulous The Tahoe Rim Trail is just out your front door. There is more hiking to be done from going up glacier-carved granite slopes, find hidden waterfalls, and discover alpine meadows painted with wildflowers. The South Lake Tahoe region is crossed with an extensive network of backcountry trails.
